Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

Didn't quite get what you were expecting? Item arrived broken in the mail?

Unfortunately, at this time, Guampedia does not offer returns, refunds or exchanges except for items picked up locally from or shipped through our office, but only if the same item is in stock. Otherwise, all sales are final.

  • E-books and E-publications are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.
  • Books, apparel, specialty items, CDs and DVDs sold and shipped through our office may be eligible for refund (minus the cost of shipping) or exchange for the same item within 14 calendar days. Returned books must be clean and free of markings and with the original receipt. CDs or DVDs, apparel and specialty items must be sealed in their original packaging.
  • All local returns or exchanges must be accompanied by the original receipt. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to an error from Guampedia.
  • Guampedia is not responsible for packages damaged or lost during shipping, or for items shipped directly from authors, artists or vendors through the Guampedia Gift Shop.
  • Please keep in mind, the different authors, artists or vendors also may have various return/exchange policies regarding the items they sell through the Guampedia Gift Shop. We suggest if there are problems with the item(s) you received that you communicate directly with the author or vendor to reach an agreed upon resolution to your individual issue.

Online Payments

The Guampedia Gift Shop accepts all major US credit cards and PayPal for online orders. Credit cards will not be charged until the order is shipped. For local pick up purchases, Guampedia accepts checks and cash. Personal checks must be made out to "Guampedia Foundation, Inc." and accompanied by a valid ID.

In some instances, items ordered may no longer be available. If items ordered are not in stock, the Guampedia Gift Shop will process the items that are available and cancel the remaining items. Customer will be notified by e-mail or telephone.

In the event of an incorrect price, the customer will be contacted of the error before any action is taken. If you have a question about an online order, please contact us.
