ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Sherry Dixon was born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, to Guamanian (CHamoru) mother and Sicilian-American father, and grew up as a military dependent living in Arizona, California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, South Carolina, Texas, Guam, and Bermuda. Dixon graduated from Southern Illinois University with an undergraduate degree in Occupational Education and from Webster University with a MA in Human Resources Development. She has worked as an occupational safety and health professional for over thirty years. Her first book, Natural Destiny, placed as a semi-finalist in the 2011 William Faulkner-William Wisdom Creative Writing Contest in New Orleans, LA. Sherry lives with her husband Don outside Charleston, South Carolina. Together they have five children and eight grandchildren.
